Step 1: Snug Underbust (Band Measurement)
Determines your foundational band size (provides 80% of total lift)
Where To Place The Tape:
Directly beneath the breast tissue, flush against the ribcage.
Instructions:
Stand straight with relaxed shoulders. Wrap a soft measuring tape horizontally around your ribcage, directly under your bust where your bra band normally anchors. Exhale normally and pull the tape snugly (neither suffocatingly tight nor loose enough to slide down). Keep the tape level with the floor.
Fit Master Pro-Tip
If you are between whole inches, round to the nearest whole inch for modern stretch-elastane bands.
Common Pitfall
Allowing the tape measure to sag down your back. Always verify in a mirror that the tape is parallel to the floor.

Biomechanical Cause:
The band circumference is too large. 80% of breast support must come from the band anchor. When the band is loose, the shoulder straps are forced to pull upward, dragging the back band up.
